From the Bockmattli you have a wonderful view as far as Zurich in the north-west and towards Alpstein in the north-east. The summit can be reached in two to three hours from Innerthal am Wägitaler See. Alpine experience is not necessary on the trail, but sure-footedness and a bit of physical fitness are. Things are different on the ridge path between Bockmattli and Tierberg. A head for heights and sure-footedness are required here.
