Großer Hörselberg Summit & Hörselberghaus

The homemade cake, such as the “sawdust” variety, is first class. To be enjoyed in summer in the wonderfully panoramic beer garden and in bad weather and in winter in the cozy dining room.

The striking and partially wooded Hörselberge are part of the framing of the Thuringian Basin and limit the southwest of the actual Thuringian Basin subsequent basin landscape of the West Thuringian mountain and hill country south. They extend in east-southeast direction about 5 to 11 km (as the crow flies) east-southeast of Eisenach in the territory of the communities Hörselberg-Hainich (in the east and north) and Wutha-Farnroda (in the west).
