The PWV hut managed by the Thaleischweiler-Fröschen local association is located directly on the Steinenschlossweg, which at six kilometers is a pleasant short tour to the nearby ruins of the Steinenschloss. The hut can serve as a starting and ending point, so that after the hike on the circular route you can stop for a bite to eat.
Unfortunately it was closed on Pentecost Sunday 2023

Hiking

Somewhat unknown Palatinate Forest club hut, which is located directly on the outskirts. Ideal for stopping off on the Steinenschloss tour or starting directly from there. Since the hut is managed by members, it is not open too often. For example, we had no luck today on Saturday.
