A visit to the museum village of Niedersulz is a journey back in time. You can discover more than eighty different buildings from two centuries - from farms to village churches - on a walk through the open-air museum. Most of the buildings are freely accessible and show everyday life and the world of work around 1900. The mayor's living room looks cozy, while the furnishings of a small house are sparse. The whole village ensemble looks harmonious and coherent. All the houses that you can see here come from the region and were rebuilt true to the original in the museum village of Niedersulz after they almost fell victim to the pickaxe.
