The Theure Christian is a roadside monument and is considered the oldest roadside monument in Saxony-Anhalt. It was built in 1688 to commemorate the fortification of the dam by the footfall. It has a 5 m high substructure with a square base, the sides are each about 2 m long. Very nice place for a short break and inform.

The Theury Christian was built in 1688, and is considered the oldest roadside monument in Saxony Anhalt. He was badly damaged by a traffic accident, but rebuilt by donations.
