    Hiking

The hike takes you past a Roman cistern from the 3rd century AD. The cistern, which was to collect the water from Poggio all'Aglione, had a capacity of around 200,000 liters and was used as a water reservoir for a settlement or villa in the immediate vicinity. From this place my has a wonderful panorama over the Tuscan countryside, Montaione and with clear view on the Apennine chain.
