Cycling

The Bergische Löwe has stood in front of the Remscheid town hall since 1939 and was intended to remind "of the great deeds of the Führer". Corresponding inscriptions were removed after the war and the lion was interpreted as the Bergisches heraldic animal and symbol of the city.

The town hall was built from 1902-1906.
