In order to do justice to the tourist flows on the second highest mountain in Saxony, the first inn on the Auersberg opened in 1907. Because King Friedrich August III. so angry about the little inn, it was expanded in 1914. Today the Auersberghaus is Saxony's highest hotel. Opening times spring / summer Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sat - Sun 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. auersberghaus.de/index.php
