The Lissos Gorge begins just after the small port west of Sougia. A few bottlenecks and large boulders have to be circumnavigated, but overall the path is easy to walk on. The route follows the long-distance hiking trail E4. If you want to continue to the Kanoundi high plateau, you must not miss the turnoff. An old mule track zigzags up the left side of the gorge to the plain.
