Until the suburb of bypasses on the occasion of the Hessentag 2005, this was the main traffic bridge in Weilburg to get over the Lahn. This bridge was built between 1764 and 1769.

Cycling
The baroque castle towers over the Lahn and offers a great view from the bike path. It is worth paying a visit to the huge palace complex, which takes up almost half of Weilburg's old town.
The magnificent palace garden can be visited all year round. Guided tours through the castle take place from March to October every day except Monday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and from November to February every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Weilburg Castle is a visual highlight. Before you drive over the Lahn bridge, the castle can be seen very well. We wanted to pay a visit first. But fell victim to time management.
