The chapel was built in 1964 by Countess Adeline Beissel von Gymnich. The then landlady of Satzvey Castle had lost valuable jewelry, which then found its way back to the family through mysterious circumstances.
Her daughter-in-law, Countess Jeannette Beissel von Gymnich, had a similar experience in 2010: she had lost her car keys, which then turned up again after a detour. As a thank you and an apology for sharing with St. Antonius had regretted, she renovated the Antonius Chapel in the Satzvey forest with the help of Franz Josef Zinken, together with her husband Franz-Josef and their two adult children. Exactly the right place for a short break and for inner contemplation. A place to reflect on the real values in life.

A pretty little forest chapel along the way.

A chapel built in 1951 in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, who is assigned a patronage for lost things.
