The Grasmoor forms an impressive ecological diversity in a small area and has been designated as a nature reserve since 1937 as the remnant of a formerly widespread dune and moorland landscape. Along the approximately 5 kilometer long hiking trail, boards provide information on the topics of nature conservation and the history of the landscape in Grasmoor.
