Historic Center of Palazzuolo sul Senio

This enchanting village in the Mugello is divided into two nuclei: Borgo dell'Ore and Borgo del Crocifisso, separated by the bridge over the river. Through the historical, artistic and cultural testimonies it will be possible to make a fascinating journey into the glorious past of this place.

Palazzuolo sul Senio became part of the Florentine Republic. With the nearby Firenzuola, it formed the nucleus of Tuscan Romagna. Since then, Palazzuolo followed the fate of the Republic of Florence and was enfeoffed to the Florentine Strigelli family.
