After a wonderful uphill tour, you can relax wonderfully here with a glass of wine or ski water or both in the sun.

Recommended for a small snack.

The Hoch-Thörle hut at 1,479 meters is also open in winter and can be easily reached via a tarred road. The service is very friendly and on point.

Beautiful Alm, with a great view of the mountains from the terrace. When we came in, a live band was playing, that topped the day again. Thank you for the hospitality :)

Very idyllic hut, great interior, friendly wait staff and good food.
We were really impressed by the location with a view of the Zugspitze massif and the gentle valleys, but also by the equipment of the hut, there is nothing to moan about!
In summer and, if there is enough sunshine, even in October you can sit comfortably on the terrace and enjoy its half in the mountain air. We were sitting inside, just because a high fog field was going through and it was zapfig, but still enjoy it. (Menu in the tour description)

The Hochthörle Hut is located directly at the foot of the Wetterstein Mountains.
The hut with a large sun terrace and children's playground is easily accessible for both hikers and mountain bikers.
In winter, the hut can only be reached via the winter hiking trail from the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn valley station or the Söldentalweg.

Great panorama, easy path ideal for hiking with children

If you take the time to leaf through the photos, you can discover a photo of the hut from 2008. At that time we walked there from Grainau and it was a rest day, so we had to fall back on our provisions.
