Translation of the explanatory panel:The exact date of its planting is unknown. The tree's age is estimated at approximately 660 years. It was probably planted in the 1330s, during the reign of the greatest Piast kings.Wladyslaw Lokietek was crowned king in 1320, and Casimir the Great in 1333.Wladyslaw Lokietek and his son Casimir the Great are considered the last of the most outstanding Piasts.The next generation of this magnificent tree is being cultivated at the Forestry School, and its descendants are growing at the headquarters of the Forestry Department, in the town of Rzepin, and at Lake Linien.
