La Mongie has a lot to offer fans of mountain sports.
Cross the legendary Tourmalet Pass on a racing bike, take a hike (or cable car ride) on the Pic du Midi and there are some trails for mountain bikers to discover.
The Grand Tourmalet / Pic du Midi - La Mongie / Barèges ski area with 29 lifts and 100 km of slopes is also worth a visit in winter.
