With a new tenant and new equipment, the beer garden on Grafenwerth Island has now started operating again (July 2019). According to the press, the new tenant also intends to renovate the neighboring café and reopen it next year.
May 2022: The old tenant has given up. In the meantime, a new tenant is running the beer garden provisionally with a beer cart and chip shop. The café is still being renovated.

The island of Grafenwerth in Bad Honnef is connected to the mainland by two bridges. One bridge at the level of the outdoor pool and the other bridge between the beer garden on the island and the ice cream parlor on the mainland. From the beer garden you can also see the island of Nonnenwerth.

Cycling

First you pass the outdoor swimming pool and mini golf course, then turn right where you go over a poplar avenue to spacious lawns. Finally you reach the beer garden with the food truck and drinks stand. Here you can sit and refresh yourself with a drink and a view. The cafe is still under renovation. The northern tip has very nice seating
