Hiking
Covered in medium to fine smooth gravel, the beach lies in a narrow, well protected bay. In the bay in front of the village Barbarossa there are several campsites and holiday accommodations. Actually nice for swimming, but in the summer is also quite something going on. From the beach you can see the fortress San Giacomo of Porto Azzurro and the fortress Focardo on the other side.

Hiking
Travel time in SEPTEMBER Very few people. Even on the hike you have the feeling that you are going the wrong way because you are not meeting anyone. This is my first time on Elba. Very good and beautiful for hiking. Not so suitable for cycling. Rather than mountain biking, it is a paradise as it has several bike parks.
