Kamperland Village Center and Marina

Kamperland is the largest town on the island of Noord-Beveland. Over the years, the former farming village has developed into a tourist resort. Water sports enthusiasts in particular are drawn here again and again. The popular marina "Uithaven Kamperland" is centrally located in the village, everything is within walking distance.
Story:
The region where the village of Kamperland stands today was formerly known as Camping and is mentioned as early as 976. The name derives from the Latin campus, which means "field" or "enclosed areas". From 1170 Campen was listed as an independent municipality. Over the centuries, the town developed further and the Campen region became Kamperland.
