The way to Luz is no longer accessible on the old beach routes on the outskirts of Lagos, you have to walk along the road for a short distance, but from Praia de Porto Mos there is a really beautiful beach path above the cliffs. It is also possible to drive from Lagos to Porto Mos (line 2) and then hike from there.
