Börßum Train Station

Centrally located in the old historical train station is the administration of the Oderwald municipality. It is the smallest joint municipality in the Wolfenbüttel district.
As of September 30, 2018, 6,815 residents were registered in the Oderwald municipality.
It consists of 6 municipalities with 11 districts and the area of the combined municipality area is 89.02 km² and consists of the member municipalities:
- Börßum with the districts Achim, Börßum, Bornum, Kalme and Seinstedt
- Cramme
- Dorstadt
- Flöthe with the districts Groß Flöthe and Klein Flöthe
- Heiningen
- Ohrum

You can also see storks on the meadow across from the Börßum train station.

The redesign of the Börßum train station was an excellent success, it would be an example for many other “railway structures”! Worth seeing ! A toilet or vending machine would still make sense! 👍
