Road that runs along the large peat area the Fochteloërveen. With distant views over the peat area, it makes this road very special. When it is clear you can see the entire Fochteloërveen in width! By evening there is a good chance that deer will walk along the road! An absolute highlight of the Frisian landscape!

Beautiful road through a beautiful peat landscape. The pavers are laid super tight, so there is no hindrance whatsoever for the racing bike. It might be a bit busy on Sundays, although we drove there on Whit Monday and it wasn't too bad. But still, don't skip it, recover for a while and enjoy the surroundings.
