Waldbühne Bremke

The Waldbühne Bremke has been showing performances since the late 1940s. The 2017 program is called "Das große Märchenallerlei" and runs from 14.05.-25.06. and 30.07-17.09.2017 Sundays at 15:00 (admission from 14:00 clock). - The ambience is worthwhile.

A stage that could hardly be more magical: That is the Waldbühne Bremke in the Lower Saxony town of Gleichen. In the summer months, we are offered the finest open-air entertainment with theatrical performances of a wide variety of genres. Whether fairy tales, serious classics or musical theater - you won't soon forget an event in such a setting.The forest stage is overgrown with moss and embeds itself perfectly in the green scenery, which stretches up behind the stage. Nothing but treetops frame the events on stage and thus give the impression of a wondrous showcase stage that can only be created by nature. The Fairy Tale Festival dedicated to the Brothers Grimm has been taking place every year since 1949. They are still popular with the public, today just as they were 50 years ago.The Gleichener Waldbühne is located in the south of Lower Saxony and can be easily reached by car. The nearest public transport stop is only 140 m away.
