Monday and Tuesday are closed here.
Otherwise the hut is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On request, you can also stop in the bar after 6 p.m.The Hainichbaude at Craulaer Kreuz is the starting point for bike tours, hikes and walks on countless circular hiking trails in all directions through the wonderful Hainich.
A lot is offered in the most comfortable atmosphere, from hearty hut food to delicious Thuringian cakes to warm, cold and "spirited" drinks.

Wonderful location and very nice view. The trail over the meadow towards Baumkronenpfad is fast and "flowig". In the direction of Betteleiche and jungle camp leads a gravel forest highway with branches in each of the Lauterdörfer (Berka vdH, Bischofroda, Lauterbach).
... and if you do not know where to go, the beer tastes in the Baude!

Cozy cottage on the Craulaer cross

Rustic cottage, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff!

Very nice and rustic hut with friendly service and tasty meals.
Good starting point for hiking or cycling in the Hainich National Park, plus a very good and cozy rest stop.

Great hospitality, great view

I was totally surprised how quaint this is. Again and again. Even with an e-bike charging station.

Quaint snack station with rustic dishes and friendly hospitality.
It is also a good starting point for all kinds of round trips.
Parking lots available.

If the battery needs new power, there is an E-BIKE filling station here at the Hainichbaude.

A must if you are at Craulaer Kreuz. Small meals and drinks for the further journey or hike in Hainich.
