Schweinfurter Baggersee Recreation Area

Very good DLRG-guarded swimming lake. The lake is very pleasantly fresh - because it is quite deep. On the day we were there, the consistency was a bit cloudy (clayey), but the lake still has good water quality. There is a very large playground and several play equipment (swings, bouncy nets, net swing, ...) as well as several gymnastics equipment for adults spread around the lake.
There are also restaurants near the large playground. 👍

These are just two of the arguments that make a visit to the Schweinfurt quarry lake worthwhile for young and old.
