Jöriseen Lakes – Circular Hike
Wägerhus – Jöriflüelafurgga 2725 m - Jöriseen Lakes - Jörigletscher – Winterlücke 2787 m – Wägerhus
The Jöriseen Lakes are several mountain lakes in the Flüela region, southwest of Davos, at an altitude of between 2489 and 2639 meters. The lakes are framed by the Jörihorn (northwest), the Flüela Wisshorn (south), and the Muttelhorn (northeast). Behind them stretch the peaks of the Silvretta massif and Piz Linard. The largest, Jörisee, is approximately 500 m long and 300 m wide. It is milky green and is fed underground by meltwater from the Jörigletscher. The Jöribach stream flows from the lakes through the Jöri Valley towards Vereina Valley and Klosters.
