If you continue along the Partnach Gorge, one of the trails leads to the Berggasthof Eckbauer at 1,236 m. Beautiful sun terrace with fantastic views.

The Eckbauer (1237 m) is one of the local mountains of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Thanks to two old gondola lifts, it is easy to reach for almost all: the Eckbauerbahn ends just below the summit, the Graseck cable car (the oldest small cable car in the world) leads across the Partnach gorge to the Vordergraseck. But even more beautiful is the climb through the Partnachklamm! Then it goes in wide, safe serpentines up to the summit.
