Bike Touring Highlight
The 1994 by the then Prime Minister of the Free State of Thuringia, Dr. med. Bernhard Vogel, inaugurated Thuringian Weintor stands at the beginning of the "Wine Route Saale-Unstrut", which leads over Bad Kösen, Naumburg, Freyburg and Laucha to Nebra.
It is located in the immediate vicinity of the graduation house "Louise".
It is the first and so far only wine gate in the new federal states and stands for the importance of viticulture in the region around Bad Sulza.

The Weintor is a real invitation to drink wine in the area. There are no opening times, but the Louise Graduation Tower is also nearby. It is definitely worth a visit.
