The wild garlic is a plant that is not only widely distributed in the Teutoburg Forest but is considered a valued and widely collected wild game. The bloom time of the wild garlic with its white leaves extends from April to May. This quarry is not only interesting for mountain bikers. It used to be a 'party location'. There are now many processed stone blocks lying around, including discarded gravestones. A look at the impressive steep walls of the quarry is possible, especially when the trees are not leafy.
