The medieval complex with ramparts and ditches stretches from MG-Hermges via Ohler, Holt, Hehn, Hardt to Viersen and via Lüttelforst to the Schwalm, beyond that as the Dicke Landwehr to Arsbeck, Dalheim and Effeld. Numerous information boards are set up along the Hehner section.
