Köterberg is one of the ten districts of the town of Lügde in the district of Lippe in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Köterberg lies at an altitude of 382 m above sea level. NHN on the northern slope of the Köterberg, around twelve kilometers from the town of Lügde. The area of the village is 2.31 km²; This makes Köterberg the second smallest town in Lügde after Harzberg.
Today's Köterberg is first mentioned in 1268 under the name of Wezzelingveld. The later name Köterberg appears in 1430 in a document on the occasion of a demarcation as Kötterberg, i.e. Küteberg = border mountain.
