The Baumgarten Bridge was opened by Friedrich Wilhelm in 1676. The bridge was then made of wood and was 120 meters long. In wartime, this bridge was blown up in fear (1945).
The bridge was then rebuilt as a temporary and 1950 again rebuilt. In 1989, this bridge was torn down again and replaced by a "modern".
