Aleja Najświętszej Maryi Panny (often abbreviated as Al. NMP or Aleje) - a street in Częstochowa, which is the main, representative communication artery of the city center. The avenue was established at the beginning of the 19th century as a road connecting Częstochowa and Nowa Częstochowa, cities administratively connected on August 19, 1826. Currently, it connects the Old Town of Częstochowa, Śródmieście and the Podjasnogórska district.
The avenue is characterized by a structure in which two two-lane roadways are separated by a boulevard running between them. During the pilgrimage period, it is used by pilgrims heading for the Jasna Góra monastery. Among the inhabitants of Częstochowa, there is a traditional division into three independent parts (Avenue I, Avenue II and Avenue III).

Main street in Częstochowa. Nice wide pavement for pedestrians and cyclist. Place full of restaurants, cafes and locations to sit and have nice rest.

At the end look back at the church view. Be aware of the traffic lights.
