Monte Maddalena (“la Madalèna”) is the home climb of Brescia cyclists. Recently resurfaced, it is a challenging climb of about 10.2 km at 6.7% of average gradient with peaks reaching 10%. The initial part is more pedalable, the second must be managed, especially for those who are not a featherweight. In the summer season it happens very often to find groups of more or less young cyclists intent on making the ascent.
