The first documented mention dates back to 1241. Unfinden lay in the settlement area of the Wends, so it is assumed that Unfinden was founded by this Slavic tribe as early as the 9th century. Unfinden was a village of Ganerbendorf (joiner village), enfeoffed knights and clergy had their landholds there, and there were 84 fiefdoms. The last feudal lord was the Ducal Saxe-Coburg-Gotha Justice Councilor Johann Christoph Segnitz von Schmalfelden (residential building, crypt). Since the treaty of July 16, 1807, Unfinden provisionally belonged to the Grand Duchy of Würzburg, and definitively to Bavaria since 1814. It was separated from the Saxon enclave of Königsberg by a customs station (commander and six men). Unfinden was incorporated into Königsberg as part of the territorial reform on January 1, 1972.

Unfinden, a district of the city of Königsberg in Bavaria, located in the Haßberge district (Bavaria), is almost entirely built in half-timbered style and is a protected monument. Unfinden is located at the foot of the Haßberg ridge, on the Burgenweg (Castle Trail), in the immediate vicinity of the Regiomontanus town of Königsberg. The town has been included in the list of particularly protected monuments by the State Office for Monument Protection. The visible buildings date predominantly from the last 300 years. 17 half-timbered houses are decorated with coats of arms from the Ganerben period.

A beautiful little village with many half-timbered houses. The old brewery with its small beer garden is particularly charming.
