Wildpark Bad Mergentheim was founded in 1974 by a private initiative. Since the 1980s, the game park hosts a wolf pack. In the year 2000 the park was taken over by the family Rügamer and the game park offer was extended in the consequence. In September 2014, the 40th Wild Park anniversary was celebrated with a summer party.
