A Vesbecker watermill was first mentioned in 1360, the present building was probably built after 1700 and originally had its place further upstream on the Beeke. The milling operation was discontinued in the mid-50s, the waterwheel was scrapped in 1968 when expanding the Beeke. At this time it was bad for the mill, they fell more and more.
Thanks to the initiative of active homeland friends, the group "Vesbecker Wassermühle" was founded in 2000. After the necessary preparation, the dismantling of the mill began in 2002 at its old location and then the rebuilding further down the Beeke. In 2009, most of the work was completed and the mill again "functional".
