A lilac blue and purple that is well worth seeing: many "rose trees" (Greek: rhododendrons) with their magical flower decorations cover the avenue in colors for several hundred meters every year at the end of May / beginning of June. For the summer residence on the Steinhuder Meer, the then royal house selected the plants from the heather family as a border for the main driveway.
