Cool old iron bridge next to the 20th century replacement and a trail bridge, all stretch across the majestic Sor river just as its estuary reaches the ocean, with sandy beaches along the shores.

About the bridge: Opened on November 1, 1901 and built by the "Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima" of Barcelona, at a cost of 528,000 pesetas. Prior to its construction, the passage between the provinces of Lugo and A Coruña was made by boat or by the Ponte do Porto and the Ponte Segade. It separates the municipalities of Mañón and O Vicedo and the provinces of A Coruña and Lugo.
