The largest fortified structure in Trentino-Alto Adige, Castel Beseno dominates the valley below in the municipality of Besenello. Keeper of a museum, cellars and frescoes, Castel Beseno enjoys a splendid view of the Vallagarina and its construction was completed in the 12th century.

Hiking
Very worthwhile large fortress from the early Middle Ages. The €7 entrance fee in 2023 is well spent. Great renovated, impressive collection of weapons. Can be explored extensively. Also great for children - to the time of knights.
