The park of statues of the marl (also called "Jardin de sculptures de la Dhuys") is visible just after crossing the Dhuys footbridge connecting Dampmart to Chessy.

This garden includes about forty statues, divided into two groups: a first group where the statues are arranged on a lawn of about 80 m by 50 m, and a second group where the statues rise along a path of 200 m long, between the Marne and a field. The site is freely accessible. The statues are monumental, some reaching 4 m in height, and are carved from blocks of white limestone assembled by mortar. Very beautiful and imposing sculptures on the banks of the Marne. Unfortunately since its redevelopment and the commissioning of an "too modern" footbridge linking Chessy and Dampmart, this site has lost all of its magic and charm for me. This place nevertheless remains a surprising place and a must-see in the region, if only for the beauty of its works and its free access to the open field.
