Anyone looking for a cozy hiking home or a natural campsite is in good hands here.
We were camping for a week and very satisfied.
The only drawback is that the railway line on the other side of the Elbe causes some noise.
Otherwise, the place is very quiet, and ear plugs for the night are always an option.
(Alternatively there is the Aktiv Hof Porschdorf, aktivhof-elbsandstein.de
is run by the same lovely people as the homestay)

This place is my "second home". Nice people, a relaxed atmosphere and the location in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, directly on the Elbe, make this place unique.
For me, Ferdinand's homestay is the "accommodation no. 1" in the Saxon sandstone.
