    Founders’ Plaza is a public observation area located just north of DFW Airport, in Grapevine, Texas. It’s a favorite spot for aviation enthusiasts, families, and travelers with a long layover. The plaza offers panoramic views of the airport’s runways, with shaded seating, picnic areas, and a live audio feed of air traffic control so you can hear the planes being cleared for takeoff and landing. There’s also a commemorative monument honoring DFW Airport’s founders and a small parking lot for visitors. It’s free, easy to access, and a unique way to experience one of the world’s busiest airports up close.
