Beppu, Japan Ropeway and Mt. Tsurumi summit walk
Very pleasant walk. Great temperature with 68F and sunny. At the top of the ropeway there are several paved trails one can take. There are 7 shrines located in random locations along the trails. The views from the top of the mountains and of Beppu and Beppu bay are stunning!

A A morning and afternoon Takayama walkabout
Wonderful! This town has preserved Edo and early Menji period houses and buildings. Great museums and craft stores and demonstrations, like the famous yew wood carving from 100+ year old yew trees. See the historical district!!

Nice ride along the Mara Lake. We started in Sicamous. Sunny about 83 degrees. Iwas riding with Don and Joc, my friends here, who are hosting me at their beautiful home.

Glorious Sunday afternoon alongside Barcelona's Beaches
I rented an ebike in the Gothic Quarter and rode along the waterfront and next to Barcelona's beaches. For city beaches, they are exceptional. Clean, with swimmable water, attractive and full of beachlovers and sun worshipers. Makes one feel good to be alive!

Marseille, France Walkabout
We were on a 2-hour guided walking tour of Marseille-the old port, Le Panier (the old town), City Hall, and some other sights, including the magnificient cathedral. It was nice. Great weather for it, too!

GibraltarRide to the top of the Rock
A fantastic 4-hour guided ebike tour. Lots of beautiful views and scenery. Lots of history to go along with it. Totally enjoyable (even with me falling over with the ebike while trying to turn it around). Ebikes are heavy! No major damage except to my ego.

Historic St. Augustine walkabout and trolley ride
