Built in 1928 mainly of wood Hubertuskapelle is under the patronage of Saint Hubertus of Liège and is located on the driveway between Giebelhaus and Hinterstein in the rear Ostrachtal.

On the steep saddle roof is a pyramid-shaped covered roof ridge. The porch has polygonal windows, the actual interior oval.

The altarpiece shows the legend of Hubertus. In the original version it came from Adelheid von Chlingensperg, who belonged to the artists' guild Salzkammergut and was murdered in 1944 in the concentration camp Auschwitz. In 1988, the altarpiece fell victim to vandalism, as it did two years before, with two saint figures of the same artist. Meanwhile, there is a reconstruction after a photograph of the image in the Hubertus Chapel.

Saint Hubert, to whom this chapel is dedicated, lived from 655 to 727 and is a very popular saint, best known as the patron saint of hunters. A stag is said to have appeared to him with a glowing cross between its antlers, which is often shown on Hubertus portraits - such as here on the outside facade of the chapel. This legend was originally attributed to Saint Eustace and over time 'migrated' to Hubertus. His memorial day in the calendar of saints is November 3rd.
