St. Lawrence Church
The town's dominant feature is the St. Laurentius Church, which was built in 1593-1594 in the Saxon Renaissance style and in 1754 received its current Baroque form. The late Baroque Chapel of the Holy Cross on the southwest side of the town square dates from 1744. There is also an originally evangelical church from the beginning of the 20th century and several smaller chapels in the town.
