Hardehausen Monastery (lat. Abbatia Hardehusim) is a former Cistercian abbey and is located in the west of the urban area of Warburg, about 15 kilometers from the core town of Warburg, in the Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia. Hardehausen was the first Cisterce in Westphalia in 1140. The youth center of the Archdiocese of Paderborn has been housed in the former monastery buildings since 1945 and, since 1949, the Catholic rural community college “Anton Heinen”.

Nearby is the Hammerbach Valley, which is well worth seeing with the bison enclosure and the observation tower
