👍 I think it's great that the ferry is still operated on a voluntary basis (beginning of April - end of October; Sat/Sun/holidays 10am-6pm.
A donation box for the crossing is available.
Money is used to maintain the ferry.
Today I had an informative crossing with the history of this ferry.
Since the farmer didn't want a bridge on his land back then, but preferred a ferry, he got it🔝.
If only it were all that easy these days.....😉

Now it's running again: repairs have been completed and everyone is happy that the ferry is running again. Have lots of fun with it!

The small cable ferry over the Elbe-Lübeck-Kanal is operated from April 1 only Fri, Sun and Sun from 10.00 to 16.00 or 18.00. Pedestrians and bikers are taken along. You should leave a donation for the Förderverein.
