This circular walk in the area Ockensen and Wallensen leads through the open countryside, on nature trails on the topics of "water" and "orchards" and high on the Ith crest. Central attraction is the water tree in Ockensen, a unique natural monument created over 100 years ago. Here originate various, particularly calcareous sources and thus form the basis for unique plant community in the nature reserve.

Very nice cafe with a nice atmosphere in a great landscape. From here you can make nice rounds through the Saale valley or into the Ith before or after drinking coffee.
