5-lake trip

A boat trip across the lakes of Holstein Switzerland is one of the most popular activities for visitors to the region.

As the name "5-Seen-Fahrt" suggests, the excursion boats of the white fleet sail through five of the most beautiful lakes in Schleswig-Holstein: Dieksee, Langensee, Behlersee, Höftsee and Edebergsee. Over a distance of 12 kilometers, the sleek ships meander past lovely bays, bright green islands, dense reed banks and hidden breeding grounds for native seabirds. Both the seats above and below deck offer wonderful views of the forest and lake-rich landscape of East Holstein. Catering with coffee and cake is only possible on board the MS Dieksee. All other ships in the fleet do not have their own on-board restaurant.
